"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

"The place is lovely, but beware of Belvilla. I meant to book through Vrbo but had trouble with my American credit card so went through Belvilla instead. Huge mistake. I ended up accidentally booking multiple units, which were cancelled except for 2. Despite repeated attempts with multiple representatives they would not cancel the other one so I ended up with 2. They tried telling me they could not get in touch with the holiday park. I called the holiday park and they said THEY could not cancel...

"Der Wohnwagen steht auf dem Gelände einer Jugendsegelschule. Er ist geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Allerdings ohne Kochgelegenheit, ausser einem Wasserkocher. Die Größe ist max. Für 2.5 Personen angenehm. 20 m entfernt ist ein Badesteg, an dem noch weitere Wohnwagen stehen. Unweit ist auch ein Sperrmüllplatz vom Jugendlager. Especially the living and dining rooms are large and comfortable, the grounds are beautifully maintained, the beds very comfortable, all the amenities excellent, and the hosts were always available and kind and helpful. "Very nice hotel that has a modern feel but still retains its traditional charm. My room was very comfortable - my only slight criticism is that there were no USB sockets, which is the norm in most hotels now. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again."

"Not in the most beautiful part of Amsterdam but handy for the arena and metro station across the street. Basic room but decent bed and helpful staff. Offers better value for money than hotels in centre but be prepared to use public transport. Would definitely use again if looking for a budget break."

"Great hotel! Not the closest one from the main sites but the metro station is minutes away so you can get anywhere. Big room and big bathroom, everything brand new, looks like the hotel has been recently renovated. I just didn't love the pillows as they were a bit too small for me, more like a cushion. But, still had good nights of sleep. Would definitely come back! "

"I was attending a concert at the Ziggo Dome and Jaz in the City Amsterdam is right next door, so very convenient. The restaurant is small, but the food is tasty and nicely priced. The front staff was friendly and rewarded a well timed joke with a free beer card! Room was excellent…clean, lovely shower, and nice coffee. 7 minute walk to a metro station that is only 15 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station. Excellent price too. "
