"This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"

Als Anregung: Tischets und Untersetzer wären ganz gut...zur Schonung der Möbel. 1 kleiner Kleiderschrank wäre auch nicht verkehrt und evtl. 1 Stuhl um die Sachen abzulegen wenn man zu Bett geht. Lage ruhig, nur leider das Umspannwerk gleich neben an☹. Ausgesprochen nette Vermieter! "Es handelt sich um eine wirklich hübsche und saubere Unterkunft. Der Vermieter hat uns nett empfangen und war für Fragen immer erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist für zwei Personen ausreichend und der Blick auf die Mosel ist wirklich toll. die nächste Straussenwirtschaft ist direkt gegenüber und die Anlegestelle für Moselschiffe ist auch nur ca. 50 m entfernt. Eine tolle Wohnung in einer tollen Lage. "

"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."

"The owner was very good at communicating, although I only gave a 3 for accuracy of the listing because it stated there was a washing machine but one was not available. We were on a 3 week vacation so we were hoping to do some washing. However the kitchen was very well set up with an abundance of coffee and tea. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. I would recommend this property."

"We could have done with lighter duvets as the room was to warm. We may have been able to cool it with the ventilation system but the noise would have kept us awake. The restaurant was too full for us at 9.00 on Saturday morning . We loaded up a tray which we took to our room but there were tables available, just not cleared."
