My family and I had a super stay at the Grand Hotel Olympic in April 2025. We were travelling with our 8 and 4 year olds and they both had an excellent stay. The hotel is in a great location, minutes from the Vatican, but feels much quieter compared to many other areas of the city. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to the heart of the city. Our room was very good, with a spacious bathroom and decent wifi signal to keep the little people busy when back from a busy day of sightseeing. The breakfast was a welcome perk, with it being a great way to start the day with plenty of options available. A great option for families wanting to experience Rome! Highly recommend.

Whilst treasure island is a very centrally located renowned location with easy access to the strip and many day trips to canyons departing from the lobby of hotel, there were a few things we didn’t enjoy. Firstly there’s a very foul pungent smell in the corridor. It’s not in any other casinos we’ve been to, solely in the lobby of treasure island leading up to the lifts and inside the lifts- it can get so awful that it almost makes you gag/wanna throw up. Secondly, the hotel doesn’t offer a kettle in the room.
