Our room had the bare minimum , no wifi even though room was advertised with wifi , no amenities in the room apart from two small bottle of water . Mattress was so uncomfortable and tiny , even for two ladies . We couldn’t open the windows to get some fresh air and cool it ( there’s no fan or AC and weather was warm ) due to the mosquitoes on-site. There’s a pond near the house and apparently this is why there’s a lot of mosquitos. Even though the host is aware of that ,there was no intention to provide a net or a repellant . Also , a huge fight broke with another guest at 11 pm and violence and shouting ended with someone breaking a door , which made me an my friend ( female travelers ) feel very disturbed and uncomfortable . At no point , when this subject was addressed at check out, the host took accountability. A brief apology message was sent the night before and that’s it. No good will gesture at any point. Terrible handling of the situation , very basic and was a quite sleepless night . Not recommended .

Un point fort de cet établissement, l’accueil et la convivialité des propriétaires. Pour ceux qui choisissent de manger sur place, la table est simple et bonne, les produits sont de qualité et bien préparés. Une belle découverte à recommander.

Un sejour très agréable dans une tres jolie auberge ancienne, au calme. Un accueil chaleureux. Disponible l équipe même restreinte est zu petit soin avec beaucoup de convivialité. Je reviendrai et je recommande Merci pour cet agréable moment

Séjour sympathique, le personnel est vraiment avenant et très souriant, serviable. Chambre et salle de bain un peu petites pour le prix ainsi que la télé miniature !! Sinon la literie est excellente

Lovely place, good location. Clean comfortable room. My only issue wasn’t with the place itself but with the thin walls which meant I could hear the next room flush the toilet and their children having a meltdown. I know the hotel can’t help the way others manage their children but it did affect my stay.

L'auberge est située au calme , pas loin du bourg de Houlgate , possède un restaurant. Les chambres ont leur charme avec le bois. Petit bémol , on entend les voisins dans le couloir. Très bon restaurant qui possède une terrasse extérieur.

Très beau séjour! Sans voiture il faut avoir de bonnes jambes. Environ 30 minutes à pied de l'auberge à la gare d'Houlgate.
