Hour Holidays

There is no parking as advertised. Something wrong with drain as the smell in the bathroom was unbearable. There was a nice chandelier but only 1 bulb in it. There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods, eventually we got them from restaurant downstairs. The key for the room is the same as key for the outside door which means, that all rooms have the same key and anyone can come to your room at any time. The room has so much potential but it felt like they don’t really care about anything. There is no working contact number for the property, so if anything happens (like you lose your key), you cannot contact them after 11 pm. The number on Expedia or google does not work.

The hotel is nice and as we travelled during Xmas period - it was nice, cosy and warm. However, a few massive disadvantages in the room: the shower doesn't have either a door or a curtain, a toilet's light was a movement sensitive, so literally you do your stuff there in complete darkness (sorry for details, but it was just awful!!!) and a host was cool about it saying that nobody ever asked questions about and made me feel bad like I was demanding fool... So it is a nice hotel, a great location, but these two things is such a turn off...

WiFi was drop constantly. It would happen every 5 minutes. After I mentioned it to the staff it did get better but it would still happen throughout the day. This was not a huge deal but became frustrating when I was try to address an issue with a previous hotel and the WiFi would drop and it delayed my conversation with them.

Love the decor, really comfy bed after a day of walking / drinking around Bruge. Bus stop right outside hotel for those who don’t want the 30 min walk into the centre.

Absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely come back. The room was spacious and adorable. It even had these massive windows that opened up. The room was literally by the water and the view of the canal from the room was stunning. The shower was great too. They have complimentary hot chocolate in the room as well. And during check out, they give you some complimentary chocolate cookies! Since it was cold outside I asked if the heating could be increased. They gave me a portable heater and it was great! Only downside is that there is no elevator. Thankfully I was on the first floor!
