Family-friendly 3 bedroom retreat, in shared house

This beautiful 3 bedroom suite features 1 full-private bathroom, one half bathroom, and a game room. You will have the whole upstairs to yourselves. The house is in a quiet neighborhood in Katy, TX. We have high-speed internet. You will enjoy free wifi and free parking. Essentials such as towels, soap, shampoo, are included in your stay. You will have a microwave, a mini-fridge and a kerig coffee machine, as well as a 55" TV with, Netflix, Amazon and Hulu. Relax and enjoy your private upstairs suite. The 3 bedrooms have 4 queen beds and an extra queen air mattress if requested. We also have a 3/4 mile running trail just behind our house. We are located just 5 minutes from shopping such as Walmart, HEB (groceries) and about 10 min from Katy Mills Mall, and Typhoon Texas Waterpark. We are also just a short drive from Houston, where you can explore the NRG Stadium, the Houston Zoo, the Natural History Museum, George R Brown Convention Center and all that Houston has to offer. We are also about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Galveston if you feel like exploring the beach.

We live downstairs, so we will be able to help with any concerns you may have during your stay. We have a very friendly 5 year old daughter and a 1 year old son. We also have 2 dogs which stay outside or in our downstairs bedroom, and 2 cats, which stay outside.

We had a funeral to go to on the north west side of Houston and this place was more efficient. The place was exceptionally clean, quiet neighbor hood, and absolutely no traffic noise. We all slept pretty well. Highly recommend for a stay.

What a great idea
At first I thought it might be strange staying with a host family. Boy was I wrong. The host family was extremely nice and welcoming. We came and went throughout the days with never being disturbed. Guest need to have a more pronounced announcement regarding shared space: 1. as first time guests, it requires an adjustment (.) 2. after the adjustment it was a wonderful experience 3. the family was very accommodating 4. the beds were super comfortable 5. more pronounced information regarding owner’s pets in the event a guest might have allergies or fear of animals and 6. manage the defroster in the little refrigerator. Given those considerations, we would recommend this venue for guests who are comfortable with shared space.

The space for guests is clean with plenty of room. We had an extra person join our group last minute and the host was very accommodating.
