Big house
House was very spacious but we rented this for the space and the pool to enjoy with the family. When we arrived the pool was extremely dirty and unusable. I had to go out and purchase a pool vacuum to clean pool myself so my kids can use it. Communication was great the owner always answered but I think his pool guy hadn’t been there in quite a while to clean

3rd time staying here
Another great experience. I have stayed at this property 3 times now in different years. It is nestled in the beautiful Tree Lands. The proximity of the grocery store is extremely convenient when one isn’t from around here. The tall trees provide continuous shade when at the pool.

Cozy house in great neighborhood
House was well maintained, clean, with necessary amenities. It was exactly as listed. We took advantage of the pool, in fact they sent someone to check and clean the pool during our stay. Neighborhood is great with walking trails, grocery stores near.

This house is beautiful and serene. The neighborhood is beautiful and the house is conveniently located at the end of the cul de sac. We rented for the backyard and pool and it did not disappoint. Beautiful pool under the shade trees in a quiet neighborhood. It was exactly what we needed for our girls weekend!

Many unresolved problems: safety and maintenance issues
Very disappointing stay. *Listing is deceiving: the additional sleeping space with a queen bed and double sofa bed is noted as an “office” on the listing. The queen bed is in fact a Murphy bed in the living room. *The amenities: sheets were old and threadbare, towels smelled of mildew. Not enough blankets for very cold nights. Washing machine was disgusting, full of sludge and flakes of mold. *The bathrooms: grimy surfaces and plumbing fixtures that were falling apart. Upstairs second bath itself smelled of mildew. On arrival, the hand soaps were empty and the trashcans weren’t lined. A towel hanger fell off the wall completely during our stay, and one in the downstairs half bath was held up by a pushpin. *Safety/Technology: The smoke alarm in one of the bedrooms was disabled, and several times during our stay the house alarm began chirping in the middle of the night. The owner was incapable of resolving the issue with the house alarm. *Pool lighting and all exterior lighting in the backyard was broken.* There were no instructions on how to use the pool, or how the heater was set up. We had to be familiar with pool maintenance to be able to use it. The TV had something wrong with the screen that made it unwatchable. We were stressed, got little sleep, and felt constantly frustrated with the lack of resolution to our struggles with this house. We were very fortunate to be visiting family so we could borrow their blankets and wash our clothing. Do not recommend.

Zen Getaway
The house was perfect for our weekend family relaxing weekend. The pool has tall trees over it so floating an hour or two away was just what I needed. The kids spent several hours each day swimming, laughing, and being kids. The house does back up to a busier street but here's the deal: when you're out there w your kids creating memories the noise is not overwhelming. It quickly becomes background focus. The house is plenty big with room to gather together for coffee, laughter, and togetherness while also allowing for each individual to have quiet time. Houston Zoo, Museums, ect are 45 minute drive which was extremely doable. The Woodlands has some fabulous food, coffee, shopping options that might make you not even want to travel into Houston. The Woodsons Kitchen has some oh so good banana pudding that will make you go back for more!

We had a fabulous time at this very cool house. The decorations were throughout the house were fun but more importantly the backyard was paradise! Lots of seating, a pool and tons of shade which is very important in the hot Texas summer months!! We would definitely want to rent this house again.

Carlton Woods golf tournament
The location was great for our needs, however it is a very noisy location with a very busy street behind the property. The windows must be single pane because even though the windows were closed they seemed like they were open with the noise level during commute hours. I slept in the master bedroom which faced the back of the house closer to the busy street and my friends were in the front of the house, so they could not hear the busy street noise. The other issue I faced was the lack of hot water for the master bath room. My showers were luke warm at best so I took very quick showers for that reason. But we still enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Home-Great Location-Beautiful Japanese Decor
This is a nice home with beautiful Japanese furnishings. It would have worked well for us if we didn't have an 18 month old and a three year old. We contacted the owner, and she understood and agreed to only charge us for one night plus cleaning fee. She was very understanding and all issues were resolved easily. This is a good home, and the owner is wonderful.

Woodlands Stay
We greatly enjoyed our stay in The Woodlands. The neighborhood was quiet and family friendly. The house was nice and spacious, well stocked, and clean. Our kids (ages 4-10) enjoyed exploring all of the Japanese decor, playing upstairs in the game room, and swimming. I would highly recommend this property to families. It is about a 45-60 minute drive to downtown Houston and the Museum District to see all the attractions, but the drive felt worth it to escape the hustle and bustle of the city at the end of the day. Next time we come, we will try and explore The Woodlands a little more because there are a lot of things to see and do there that we didn’t get a chance to do. Our host was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Safe neighborhood, the entire Woodlands area is beautiful & convenient to all area amenities. Any issues we encountered during our stay have been resolved by the property manager & other staff members in a reasonable manner. We like the Japanese/ Asian-inspired design of the home.

Magical experience
We had a great time, the house is just gorgeous, situated in the Woodlands, with the tall trees, it is not as hot as it would be in Houston. We had an amazing experience. We were here to visit with my in-laws. There are lots of walking trails in the neighbourhood, a very safe place, with grocery store close by. The fridge was stocked with beer & seltzer drinks, a nice surprise. We love the kimono theme & did have fun trying them on. The host is amazing & very accommodating. I really enjoyed our stay. These memories for the family are priceless & will last a lifetime.

Pool Almost Paradise
This house has tons of potential! We chose this house for the pool and it did not disappoint. The backyard area is a wonderful retreat and lovely way too cool off every day. That being said the road noise keeps it from being as peaceful as we’d hoped. Also, there is a waterfall, that if cleaned up and in working order, would have been dynamite and added so much to the experience. If they included outdoor twinkle lights over the pool and hung up the swing, it really would be something. Like I said, SO much potential to really make this a WOW 5 star experience just not quite there yet. Also, we planned on cooking a lot of our meals, but the oven was not working. Other than that, it was a great vacation! Thanks for sharing your property with us!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and welcoming. There were several amenities provided which made our time there effortless and gave more time to spend with family. The location of this home is just minutes away the shopping mall, grocery store, and Main Event (bowling alley and arcade games). This was the perfect location!
