The website did not notify the buyer prior to paying that they were under construction. I could not cancel because I witness the mess, dust, construction, material waste, no dinning area, no seating area, walls have done, tape on walls, bad painting, it was a total disaster. You would think that they start construction in one area and keep another area clean but NOT our room was filthy, there was no closet (under construction- no paint on the wall, no pole to hang clothes, no hangers), the restroom total disaster, sofa coach had broken legs. The whole experience was horrible and ever the website promised like the simple things: iron, ironing board, blow dryer, towels, and extra linens were all missing. I would think twice about going to this hell hole and they keep random people stay in the parking lot which is very unsafe.

Comforting Stay During Challenging Times
My boyfriend, our adorable dog, and I spent nearly three weeks at this hotel, 20 miles from MD Anderson (a 30-45 minute drive), where my mother was being treated. Despite ongoing renovations, Troy provided us with a fantastic deal. Although the typical breakfast was unavailable due to renovations, they generously offered juice, coffee and tea. Occasional dust and noise were minor issues, but Troy's exceptional service and staff courtesy made our stay comfortable. Rooms were spacious with amenities like sofa beds, microwaves and mini-fridges. The renovations will surely enhance the hotel's charm!

The hotel is under construction and the condition was horrible to say the lease. The entire hotel has plywood and buckets everywhere. When I got there the front desk was covered in plastic. The hotel looks as if it is empty. The contractors were there working I wasn't sure the building was opened. The towels were stained and dingy, not to mention so rough. The room has pink cleaning solution still in the shower be blue tape covering the numbers on the doors and AC unit. The bed and linen on the bed was clean. The hotels description on this App is very misleading.

New ownership, renovations ongoing
What was there was great. What was missing was bad. Great: bed was comfortable, hot water was good, front desk was great, exterior was safe. Bad: missing fire detector, missing interior door lock. The place has been through a lot, and is now owned by an American company that is redoing everything. Renovations, bedding, services, everything. It will take time to get there. It was fine for a one-night stay. Used suitcases to barricade the door. No issues. Would stay again, especially once the renovations are complete.

They are under construction and little bit of a mess. Staff At check was one of the best I have had contact with. Morning staff was nice too . Look forward to going back when construction is further along, but room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable!

The Spark suite hotel is in a great location for business and while ityjn Undergoing renovation by the new owners, they have ma manage to keep the rooms clean and the noise from the work away,am still able to relax and enjoy my stay in comfort

Great place to stay!
Hotel was being renovated and was nearing completion but that did not bother my stay at all. The staff was amazing and I can't wait until to see the hotel once renovations are completed. I have been staying here for several years and when I'm in the area, this is where I choose to stay.
