"The apartment itself was quite nice and very spacious for three of us. It was clean and outfitted well enough. As appliances in the UK are different from those in North America it would be helpful to have some manuals, especially since the numbers were worn off the buttons on the hob. The area outside was noisy so no sleeping with the windows open. It’s a busy area as near train station which could be very convenient if travelling on trains, but it felt a little less safe late at night. ...

"This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!"

"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

"I was only staying for one night and received a complimentary upgrade which was a great start. Room was clean, warm, quiet and spacious. Big tv, great powerful shower and comfortable bed. My only small negative was there wasn’t a kettle which was unusual for a hotel room. Would definitely stay here again though. "
