"The cabin was the perfect stay for enjoying the quiet and snowy up north woods. It’s walking distance to the snow show trails and short drive to mt Bohemia. We loved the proximity to calumet Main Street for good food and coffee. The cabin is modern and cozy. Would definitely reserve again! "

"Wonderful"

"My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. It is exactly as listed and the views are simply stunning. The best day of the trip was the day we snowshoed around the property with the snowshoes provided. There is a clearly marked trail through the woods and a map of all the trails in the house. The house is well insulated and the wood burning stove is easy to use. Plenty of pots and pans so we cooked every meal in the house. We will definitely be coming back to see other seasons. "

"This place is awesome for larger groups. We came to ski and sightsee in the Keweenaw. This was a return trip the Canal View house and we look forward to returning in the future.Everything about the accommodations is as good as you could ever hope to find. There are relaxing social spaces, sweeping views, a perfectly stocked kitchen, and plenty of sleeping space.If you are looking for a very nice place at a great price, this is the one to book! Thanks for the stay!"

"This property was great for our snowmobiling trip. There is ample parking for three trucks and snowmobile trailers. The porch area is heated and was a wonderful spot for all our gear. The kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs and the dining and living rooms were large enough to lounge and play cards. "This is our second stay at the Mohawk Trail house and we would highly recommend this property. The house is not fancy but it is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. Two excellent restaurants are located within walking distance of the house. The owners were very timely in plowing the parking lot after 2 significant snowfalls. It is just a 20 minute drive to Mt. Bohemia. Thanks Marc and Bette for another great stay"

"Cabin was wonderful. Location great. Snow was fantastic. Xc sking. Snow shoeing. Local culture the best. Friendly folks everywhere. "

"We planned to ski at the Swedetown Nordic Center and attend a Dance Performance at the Michigan Tech University. Lodging in the area was spares as there was also a major University Hockey event.The Mohawk location was convenient to skiing and not that far from the University. Slims restaurant across the street was great for Breakfast!The only negative was a slight odor in the house."
