"The owner was there to welcome us on arrival and show us how everything worked. He provided flowers and welcome gifts which was a lovely unexpected gesture. The apartment was comfortable and the complex has an indoor swimming pool and private lakeside garden with access to the lake for swimming, etc. The complex also has launderette facilities."

"This is a sprawling complex that is tucked away from the main part of Garmisch-Partenkirchen but still accessible via car, taxi, bus, or even just a nice walk. We had a two-bedroom apartment with a balcony. This was plenty of room two parents and two adult children (though they did have to sleep in bunk beds which was throwback to childhood memories). I also enjoyed the free taijiquan class in the adjacent training facility. We plan to stay again."

"We loved Hotel Zugspitze! We stayed here for a few nights and used it as our base for exploring the area and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel is near the main squares and shopping street in the town but far enough away that it is very peaceful. The hotel itself is very cute and clean, with very helpful staff."
