"Reception staff was welcoming and helpful. Furnishings in the common areas are attractive but the room was a bit tired and worn looking, though clean and the bed was comfortable with good linens and pillows. The breakfast was also good with a number of options. Overall though, the price was more reflective of the location than the value of the accommodations."

"Oyster Bay Lodge was a great stop on our Garden Route adventure. The road going in from Port Elizabeth was a bit sketchy, but it added to the allure of the hidden gem of Oyster Bay. Wonderful food and dining atmosphere, great walks in the woods, and a private, beautiful white beach. Great pool also. Two nights was not enough!"

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here! We were celebrating our honeymoon and we had a gorgeous ocean facing balcony, the room came with bathrobes & a mini fridge so we could chill our champagne. The room was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and we happened to be the only guests so it was very private and quiet. The communal kitchen looked lovely. Breakfast was only a few steps away at another building but you could definitely make your own in the kitchen. I highly recommend staying here. "

"It was our 2nd time to stay at this property. The breakfasts are amazing with more than normal choices. There is an honesty bar which is well stocked and reasonably priced. Overall a lovely place to stay within walking distance to an amazing beach. "

"The golf lodge was amazing - Views over the 1st tee and 9th green - Rooms and clubhouse were done to a very high standard and Debbie the golf manageress was amazing - she even booked us a meal at a local restaurant which was lovely and the owners came and picked you up and dropped you off. "Great one night stay and location was good. No secure parking but it's a safe neighborhood. Will stay again The only thing I can say is that the person underneath our apartment had a braai outside and when we opened our room window the whole room was flooded with smoke. I would suggest braai at designated area. "

"Amazing views and room. Great breakfast and excellent host, including good recommendations for eating and drinking around town. Location is by the canals, which are very picturesque and there is even a kayak to use on the canals! The walk into the main town is around 20-25 minutes (very safe)."

"I arrived at this property after 8pm, said I would like to check in, the lady “gave me a look” confirmed my name and handed me a set of keys and tv remote and directed me to the room. Maybe iv just been spoilt on my recent tour of SA as every other hotel/b&b have been so welcoming. I don’t expect much but some basic information like checkout time/wifi/ breakfast would have been handy. Also I did message the property two days before via Expedia to notify them I would be arriving between 8-9pm,...
