IHG Holiday Inn Express hotels are always a solid choice. Very clean, modern, great staff. The complimentary full breakfast is a big time and money saver as well.

This hotel was easy to find off the highway and close to shopping. The building is in very good condition. The breakfast is good and there is a large seating area. The free weights in the weight room ranged from 5 lbs to 50 lbs and there are 3 cardio machines. The pool area is just a pool and unfortunately the pool heater was not working when I was there. The bedroom had lots of space. There is a microwave and fridge which I appreciated. The only complaint I would have made about the bathroom was the grout areas around the tub could have been cleaned better. However, I would stay here again.

We enjoy staying at this hotel. It is pet friendly so we can travel with our dog. It’s location is close to the downtown which is great because we usually come in December to do Christmas shopping. You never what the weather will be like! We like to support local shops, and find unique gifts for our children and family. We look forward to the breakfast included. It’s nice to have that option, travelling with the dog makes it unlikely we will go sit elsewhere for breakfast so it’s nice to be able to stay at the hotel and have breakfast in the morning. We ❤️ Holiday Inn & Huntsville. Lisa, Owner of Pooch’s Cupboard Co-All natural dog treats.

This was close to Hwy 11 so easy in and out of Huntsville. The restaurants and shops close by were walkable as well. The room we were given the door would not shut. They had no expert repair on staff available. They did their best but not happy that my door would not close. We were moved to another room but caused us a 55 delay to being booked in.

Disappointed with this property. It needs serious updating, maintenance and cleaning. Hallways on second floor were not vacuumed, large pieces of debris laying around. The furniture in our room was in poor condition, chair covers ripped and falling apart. The bathroom lights at the mirror were so dim you could not see to shave or apply makeup. The hairdryer did not blow hot air, needs to be replaced. The view out of our window of the back of the property was garbage and debris spread along the bush line, contrary to the Best Western next door who had lawn and picnic tables for their guests. The rooms were quiet, beds comfortable, showers hot and good water pressure. Breakfast was okay. This place appears to be cutting corners where they can to save money. One last observation, they flew an American flag and a Canadian flag at the front. The Canadian flag was ripped and tattered. The American flag was in perfect condition, not a good image. This property is not typical of other Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at. Not likely to return to this particular location.
