"Chris and the staff are really wonderful. They spare no effort in tending to your needs and are very warm and kind. The hotel itself needs a little TLC though for its charm to really shine. A thorough cleaning and dusting especially the rooms would go a long way (lots of dust and cobwebs, dusty ornaments); torn cushions, worn towels and placemats need replacing; simple means to hang clothes and towels in the room along with hand/face towels would be welcome additions.
