First apartment smelt so bad requested immediate change. 2nd apartment at mininum expected standard. Pillows very hard, beds uncomfortable. Surrounding area and tenants concerning. Left a day early."

"We had a wonderful stay ilfracombe, the view from the flat was breathtaking. The flat had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous. "It was very easy to access the apartment with detailed instructions and photos. It is located in a former hotel and accessed by lift or stairs. The apartment is very well laid out and very spacious. It was very cosy, especially as the wind was very strong during our stay. The views across the bay and the town are amazing. Who knew Ilfracombe was so charming!! "I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. We felt it was a little difficult to find as Capstone Crescent followed on from Capstone Road without any clear signing but we had great support from the contact provided. "The property was semi-cleaned when we arrived. Although a male staff member was very helpful at the bar, the sofa and the carpet was covered in pet hair. We had to put blankets of our own over the chairs as we did not see them fit to sit on. We also had put our yoga mats on the carpet as we did not see it fit for the children to play Lego or games on. The beds were not made and general cleanliness we expected for the price was not there. The flat had pet odour and we had to keep the doors open...

"Despite listing Wi-Fi as available in the property, it was only available in the reception area. The dishwasher was broken and it took multiple attempts to get this fixed - it was only fixed by the end of the stay. Check-in took an incredibly long time, we were queueing for about 20 mins."

"At first as we arrived around 4:15pm our room wasn’t ready but the reception sort it out. I tried to call the owner before that but the owner no response till we left.
