"Good self-contained property. There was only a tiny saucepan (in a house that caters for up to 6 people) when we checked in. We contacted the agent, and while it took a bit of negotiation, they organised someone to deliver a bigger saucepan the next day - so top marks for their responsiveness. Imari (and the nearby Okawachiyama Village) is charming, and we used it as a base to explore Hirado. "

"Very tidy property in good conditions. Rooms face either the river or the hills. Very convenient to Imari station, supermarket, local restaurants. Rooms have cooktop and microwave but absolutely no crockery, cutlery or cookware except two mugs!"

"Calm and quiet surroundings. Hotel staffs are very accommodating. Parking was very easy plus the cleanliness in and out of the building was excellent. All of this at a very reasonable rate. I’ll be staying here again for sure. "

"The Takeo Onsen Kyotoya is a traditional Japanese hotel. I wanted the tatami mat and futon experience and this property exceeded my expectations. I enjoy the older style of hotel as the nostalgia of the experience is valuable to me. The room and bath were well appointed and very comfortable. My room had a great view of an interesting rock formation on the top of a mountain nearby. The location is within a 10 minute easy flat and wide walk from the station. Amazing Experience.

"Absolutely amazing experience. We had a small issue and it was taken cared off immediately. Very professional, response time was impecable, very clean, the very few times we encountered the dtaff they were very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit smaller than i expected, but the heart of the place overwhelmed us with joy and made feel at home. I enjoyed making small meals and loved every moment. Parking was always available and free. "
