We particularly liked that we could sit together in the living area and eat meals together as there was a dining table big enough for all of us. The games room and pool were perfect additions. Everyone enjoyed themselves which is a hard task when catering for all ages. We will be back, thank you"

"Great position in Newbury, very close to the main shopping street. Parking nearby was cheaper than onsite so we used that. Entry was easy with good instructions. It was very warm inside, we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. Nice and quiet in the building, we hardly saw or heard anyone else. Everything you needed for a short break was supplied. Cooking on the Aga, watching the snow falling outside, wine in front of the fire and walks in the country was just what we needed for some R & R. "A fantastic short break with great walks, shopping in Marlborough and relaxing in a lovely cottage which was comfy clean and really well equipped with everything you could want. Some thoughtful touches included goodies for us and treats for my dog! Will definitely be returning. "

Only problem was the noise - a strange bit loud humming all the time - like machinery. Also the sink doesn't drain very fast at all - maybe a blockage somewhere - so water in the basin all the time. But all in all it's a good place to stay- easy parking and near Asda and the cinema too- both of which we took advantage of "

"We spent a lovely couple of nights over Valentine’s day. The pool was delightful as we spent hours in there across both days. The staff were all lovely and happy to help whenever needed. The breakfast was exactly what you’d expect from a hotel buffet. While the room was a little dated the slightly worn carpets, the comfortable bed more than made up for it making it slightly difficult to get up in the morning! We would absolutely go back"
