Great location and professional staff

We had a great stay between Christmas and New Years. The staff was professional and helpful. We had a nice view of the lake from the room and the bed was comfortable and the room was big enough for two adults. The Woods Inn is a great location for visiting the Adirondacks.

This is a wondeful 130-year-old hotel right on 4th Lake. Everything is within walking distance and the Laughing Loon is a good place to have a meal, a snack, and/or a drink. If there is a negative, it's the stairs - if you cannot do stairs, then this may not be the place for you.

Lovely old inn in a charming village. View of the lake from the inn is beautiful. Bed was uncomfortable and some sprucing up is needed in the building. Kind and attentive staff.
