"Small studio apartment in a large block, in Arcs 1800. The location is fantastic, ski in/out. A linen rental service, bakery and large spa, as well as lots of restaurants are just outside the door. The slopes are just behind the block, and Folie is 2mins and an easy ski away. It's not easy to see what the apartment is like in the pics. "Overall a nice chalet and a great position in the village, perfect for our needs. Nice kitchen and large living area with good size table. Great to have 3 showers and plenty of storage for 8 of us. "We had a fantastic week staying in Giles and Christiane’s chalet just below Les Arcs. The chalet is very well equipped for 8 people with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and a very nice communal kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The utility room downstairs with washing machine and dryer, plus heated boot rack was an absolute bonus enabling us to have warm and dry boots each day. Communication with Giles and Christiane was very easy and clear and it was nice to meet them on arrival."

"We booked our stay from 6-12 April 2017. Please bear in mind that there are no shops near the chalet. The nearest is in Seez or Saint Bourg Maurice which is a good 20 minute drive from the chalet. The owner told us that the nearest lift is 200 metres away but it is 1km and you cannot walk from the chalet to the lift, you have to drive. Also at that time of year and maybe because it hasn't been the best season, you could go up to Les Arcs 2000 via three slow chair lifts which took 30 mins but it...

"We failed to ask if the apartment had an elevator and air conditioning and it had neither! The fans provided were excellent though and were very good at night when we left the doors open and the temps dropped. Parking was easy and free. All we needed inside was provided. Another wine glass would be nice and we were never able to find clothes pins to hang out our clothes so a few dropped to the ground but we retrieved them! We walked a convenient 15 minutes into the center of town. "

"Loved the breakfast, really great options, above and beyond. Staff courteous and helpful without being overly warm and welcoming. The hot tub/spa is 25 euros per person for 2 hours, honestly this is way too expensive and not clear on hotel listing. The room was spacious with a good view and amenities, loved the little coffee machine.The area itself is very lively with lots to see and do within an easy walk of the hotel."
