"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"The check in/ check out procedure was made super simple but a very easy to communicate with host. Bar, restaurant, shop and fuel station are all a short walk away. Highly recommended place to stay!!"

"We enjoyed the relaxing location just outside Le Molay Littry. It's 50mins from Caen in countryside like Cornwall, but without the people! We weren't aware it's right next to a cow farm but they weren't a bother, but there are a lot of flies,which we got used to. The house is a little sparsely furnished but spacious. The bedrooms could do with a chest of drawers each and there's room for them. Downstairs is a bit minimalist too. Some soft furnishings would break up the noise a bit. The town...

"Nadine me us on arrival. She speaks only French, we speak only English. However, with the use of a translation app on her phone we managed. She provided a thorough explanation of the features of the property. The property was spotlessly clean with a really well equipped kitchen. There is a beautifully landscaped garden and it is fully secure, important as we had two small children with us. There are many WW2 historical sites within easy reach, also true of beaches. "This property is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. From the demi-moat, to the gazebo, to the gardens, to the grand stairway and high ceilings, this place comes straight out of a fairytale. AND although it is off the beaten path with views of green rolling hills, it is ALSO within 20 mins walking distance of downtown Bayeux. Will absolutely visit again. "

"The location of this hotel is perfect. The people are fabulous and friendly. We did not use any of the spa services so we can't speak to that, but the location is ideal and walkable to everything. Easy trips from here to the Normandy beaches / area. We would stay here again time and again when visiting Bayeux...this was about as close to perfect as one can hope."

Excellent hidden gem

"Top notch service. Well appointed, modern, and immaculate rooms. The room was so nice that I felt bad messing up the sheets to go to bed. The site was walking distance to the beach. Site itself was stunning. Even though it was not beach front, the grounds and greenery were pristine even off season. I enjoyed the fact that it was a much smaller hotel and had lots of refinement and personality without seeming stuffy. The service staff was stellar who showed us our room and offered to help with our bags. Even though our receptionist didn’t speak English fluently. She tried her very best and it was much much better than my failed and laughable attempts in French. Even then she remained unflustered, professional and friendly. The hotel does have a sign up front that states they speak English but I feel I should at least try to blend in with the culture. "

"Absolutely spacious, comfortable, and convenient lodging with 3 separate bedrooms with on-suite full baths in the heart of beautiful and quaint Bayeux. What more could you ask for? Accommodations were above and beyond expectations as was the multitude of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, not to mention the gorgeous cathedral and the fascinating tapestry museum. It's also a close drive to the WWII museums and cemetery as well as the must see Mont Saint-Michel. Highly recommended!"

"We had booked at hotel la Bayeux but when we arrived we were directed to hotel Normandy. It was a little confusing but we called the number and had no problems. The girl who checked us in was super kind. Our room was perfect for our family of 5. We had Breakfast there and it was nice to sit and relax for Breakfast. We wish we had planned more time here. It is a lovely town. "
