It was ok but there were roaches in the room. They sprayed some kind of chemical, very strong smell. We had to keep the window open for almost 4 - 5 hours

overall a good stay.

Good hotel, ideally located on Jinnah Avenue. It was my 1st time living in Islamabad for a couple days and it gave me a good chance to explore the city. They are minutes of a drive from Centaurus Mall which has shopping, theater, and a huge food court. Faisal mosque is also a few minutes drive. Overall great location, can't complain :) hotel is ideal, has a few major food chains nearby, like Dominoes, Subway, etc.that also deliver to your hotel room. Our Check-In was quick and smooth, very polite and friendly staff. Housekeeping kept the room very clean daily. Room service was very good but their quality of food needs a huge improvement! The only thing this hotel need to do is remodel its washrooms. Otherwise we had a real good stay and time.

Rename it Scam and Shambles Hotel

Disgustingly arrogant attitude of hotel staff, from Check-In to Check-Out. No concept of customer service in this hotel. At Check-In was told with a haughty and arrogant pride that they are not an international standard hotel, but a Pakistani standard! OVERCHARGED at CHECKIN – WHTCH OUR FOR THE SCAM TECHNIQUE OF DOUBLE CHARGING. The accommodation overall is shabby, worn and old, requiring a massive programme of maintenance and upgrading. No pride in the cleanliness, neatness and just basic quality of fittings, fixtures or amenities. This hotel's staff think its enough to bow at you and salute you to achieve customer service! First room given to us was DISGUSTING. Not cleaned correctly, hair all over the bathroom, and a blocked shower drain. Asked that they change our room and re-clean it in front of our eyes. The second room was worse - cracked glass in the bathroom door with sharp edges, electric lamps that were not wired correctly and you could see the sparks when switching it on or off. Room heating worked then didn't work - the engineer was called multiple times but could not fix the problem. Not a single tea bag nor a kettle in sight. Bathroom was just OK with rotten and broken mirror frame, sharp edges and a very very worn condition. A generally dirty and grimy floor. Breakfast was very basic and poor quality, entirely unappetising - and included the obligatory Pakistani habit of cleaning staff mopping the floor around your feet as you are serving yourself!

Average Experience Central Location

This place is located centrally so you have easy access to pretty much everything in the city but overall offers an average experience in the price they offer. Breakfast has few items that pretty much repeat all days. They were supposed to change our room on day which did not happen till the last day. Overall very slow people.

First of all it was nothing like a 4 star hotel. The furniture in room was broken and staff was quite rude about stuff when we complained about the poor condition of furniture in our room. Breakfast was average.

The buffet meal was wonderful and had good selection of items. Staff was helpful in most situations, but when told of numerous electrical malfunctions, zero attempts were made to remedy a very dangerous situation in the 48hrs we were there. Cleanliness was fine.

The customer service was awesome. The breakfast was so good with many varieties including continental, local, American. I greatly recommend this hotel. I will stay again this hotel. This is perfect hotel for family as well as business trip. The shopping mall is on five minutes walk.

Good visit, could've been great.

The checkin process was quick and the staff (Mr Naqi) like always so helpful. This was our 4th stay at HCP. First the breakfast was delicious and the serving staff, helpers at the gate and the bell boys were great. Thanks for their service. Few things which were frustrating. We had to go out within an hour of checking in and requested Iron/Ironing Board and got it after and hour and reminding 4 times. Though, we had mentioned in our booking us as a family, still only 1 towel was provided. After requesting repeatedly, we got one more only. The last most disappointing part was the crib. We asked for a crib for our baby and we were provided a very old looking crib. Luckily, my wife lifted the mattress before putting our baby in and found mouse feces underneath. I've a photo of it but not putting it here intentionally. Housekeeping manager and staff were swift in their response and provided a comfortable bed for our baby. I mentioning it here so it never happens again for another baby staying over there. If a crib isn't provided, then please just say no.
