"The house is high on a hill overlooking Oban. It's a little tricky driving up there but welcome to Old Scotland. There is a lot to see around Oban but we had some stormy weather when we were there so we went to the distillery."

"Lovely little gem off the beaten path of more touristy areas but good location to explore area of Glenfinnan, Ben Nevis and Glen Coe etc. We really enjoyed are stay in this beautiful little property which was so peaceful and quiet with lovely garden to explore, and that had lovely view from the top. Norries tip for drink on seat up top a very good idea :) Thank you so much Anna and Norrie for our stay, we were very sad it went to quick so hope to be back again soon. Justin and Gwen :)"

"I booked this place for my family (seven of us from 5-70) because it was close to Oban, and it served that need well. It also has lots of room, easy walk to Tralee Beach and the fish and chips place, a fireplace, and the person next door was extremely helpful and nice. That said, the directions we were given were not very accurate, and we drove by it twice before finally finding it. I still wasn’t convinced we were at the right place because the Tunnag Cottage sign featured so prominently on...

"Have stayed in this hotel several times and am never disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent location and is always very clean. I also appreciate how close it is for walking into the town. I would like to mention that the staff were once again very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. I plan to go back to Oban soon and I know this will be the hotel I use again next time."
