The stay was generally fine but a few things weren't great, no parking whatsoever, 15 min walk for proper parking. Not suitable for children, had no high chairs for breakfast time for our two year old. Had a family room but it was tiny, room was outdated and needs upgrading or a good clean. Staff pretty much sat behind hotel desk on their phone, no helloes at all. All in all it was a place to sleep but wont be staying here again.

Lovely hotel. Got it for around £50-60 each which is amazing for the location on a Saturday night. Staff were lovely, room was lovely, when I arrived to check in at check in time I had to wait for 10 Mins due to room not being ready (wasn’t a problem at all) but staff gave us a drinks voucher for the bar. "This was a charming but rustic property. I expected that, as I read the age of the hotel. Tub/shower was a bit rickety, but clean. The rooms are heated with radiators that are on timers...you cannot control the temp yourself. Food at their restaurant was great. The place just needs a bit of TLC."
