"Located right on the shore of the Solent RIver and close to the CBD of Ryde, this old castle was a perfect stay and it was a pleasure to watch all the boats and ships going in and out of the Port of Southampton, as well of the coming and goings of the hovercraft nearby. Room was not huge, but a reasonable size for the two of us and comfortable. Room was in good condition and the staff were friendly and prompt. Whilst there is parking on site, it is also available to patrons of the hotel so sometimes there can be limited parking. All guests must register their cars with reception. We had 3 heavy suitcases so it was great that they have a lift, but it only goes to the first level meaning if your room was on the second level you would need to carry them up the stairs. We would definitley stay again"

"Nicely kept and cozy hotel. The food in the breakfast room and on Sunday dinner was both excellent, our compliments to the chef! Laura was outstanding, and yes, we made it to Harrods in London! We had a wonderful stay here."

"I booked quite last minute, maybe a week or so prior to our stay. We stayed in the Crew room and it was a pleasant surprise as I really didn't know what to expect! A large and comfortable room with two sets of double bunk beds. The shower room was pretty nice, there were two showers (I expect ideal if a family were staying there). Zoe was really friendly and helpful when we checked in, and the man we spoke to on check out was equally so. Overall a great stay, and check out of 11:30 was great so we didn't have to rush. Very centrally located in Cowes, right next to the Red jet ferry terminal."
