"The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."

Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. "Gorgeous property with a real Scottish feel. Staff is fantastic, the food at the restaurant is delicious and the bar is cozy, with a fire in the cold months and a great selection of beverages (even better at Seamus' Pub next door when open (but it was closed for our stay being the off-season). The rooms are excellent, the bathroom is great and has heated flooring & a heated towel rack. There are even many snack and drink options in the room. The breakfast was included with our stay and the menu was EXTENSIVE. We had a full Scottish breakfast (and I mean FULL) and eggs benedict with a homemade hollandaise sauce and local eggs. Lots of walks and sights to see very close by as well. You will not be sorry if you're lucky enough to stay here! "
