"We had the most amazing time at Casa de la Loma. We arrived and Ana and Freddy were there to greet us and when we walked into the home just as the sun was setting it literally took our breath away. The pictures don’t begin to show the beauty of this place. A 4 wheel drive is needed to get up the last hill but it’s not scary at all - and I’m a wimp. "Central pool and rancho is the focal spot of the facility. Other guests/owners all very friendly. Moderate walk to beach. Unit is a little dated but all is adequate. A/C and WIFI worked well. Only small issue was the fridge is not balanced which caused a big wobble and difficulty opening"

Beautiful Hotel with Great Beach Access

"Our second visit to this hotel. It’s beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Situated as close to the beach as possible in Nosara. You walk right out of the hotel to the path to the beach. A couple minor things on this trip. They did charge an extra $45 a night because we brought our son (making 3 of us) even though the suite we booked sleeps 4. So that added an extra $250 onto our cost. The other minor issue is the cost of beer at the restaurant. $8 a bottle for a domestic lager and $14 for a domestic IPA. In town those are like $2.50 and $4 respectively. We went to the local market and bought 6-packs for $12. On the other hand the cocktails are great and cost about what you would expect at an upscale bar. Otherwise the place is the best combination of location, comfort, and cost in Nosara. We will definitely be back."

"This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays in recent memory. The staff was courteous and kind. The food was amazing on sit and the accommodations were great. The resort is 2.5hours away from the airport, mostly on local roads so be prepared for a trip after your flight into Costa Rica, but the experience is well worth it in my opinion."
