The property is in a lovely position just a few metres from the sea. It is in an ideal location to visit many of the wonderful historic sites that the island has to offer. The apartment was beautifully clean, well equipped and well maintained. The pool and its surrounding area were well cleaned on a daily basis and all in all the property exceeded our expectations. The owner gave us a wonderful welcome and was really helpful throughout our stay - her suggestions for visits and trips out were excellent as was her recommendation of a local restaurant. I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to friends and relatives and we may well visit again in a couple of years' time having had such a good experience and a most relaxing holiday.

Appartamento confortevole, molto pulito, veramente di fronte alla spiaggia, basta attraversare la strada. Piscina molto curata ed utile perché nella settimana in cui ho soggiornato qui, spesso, il pomeriggio al mare era molto ventilato, quindi ottima alternativa soprattutto per i miei figli di 6 e 10 anni che hanno apprezzato molto. Per chi cerca una vacanza in questa parte della Sicilia è un posto che sicuramente consiglierei.

Il residence le Dune è adatto a famiglie con bambini, posto tranquillo accanto ad un mare pulitissimo e con acqua bassa, e Bellissime dune di sabbia che ti fanno sentire in Africa. Ha una piscina abbastanza grande, non immensa, e un piccolo giardino al centro delle case a schiera. Non c'è nessuna animazione, pertanto è sconsigliato a chi cerca residence con divertimento. L'appartamento e' arredato in maniera simpatica, ma ha il minimo indispensabile in quanto a stoviglie, noi ad esempio eravamo in 5 più una neonata e avevamo posate per 5, il che significa che se cucinando usavamo una posata, per pranzare poi, prima dovevamo lavarla! Lavatrice e barbecue si trovano in 2 capanni esterni comuni e questo ti reca qualche difficoltà oggettiva. La signora Anita, proprietaria del residence, è gentile e premurosa, ma a tratti diventa un poco pignola, il che a mio parere disturba i clienti. Tutto sommato se cercate max tranquillità e mare splendido vale la pena di andarci.

Our family (two adults and three children) stayed at Le Dune Residence for a week in June 2017. Despite arriving at midnight, we received a warm welcome from the owner. The apartment was equipped with a fridge, freezer, cooker, television, shower, balcony and air conditioners in both bedrooms. There was a communal washing machine and brick pizza oven. The children were delighted with the swimming pool and were regular visitors. The shallow end is about 1.20 metres and the deep end is about 2.00 metres. The pool was open from 9am to 1pm.. and from 4pm until late (closed for 'siesta' from 1pm to 4pm). The flat, sandy beach was 20 metres across the road from our apartment, hidden by large dunes. The sea water was extremely warm, so there was no problem with the cold. Every apartment had a parking space and access is controlled by an electric gate key. Having a car is critical. You can't survive without a car. If you wanted a snack, ice cream or a drink, there is a shop about 400 metres away. The nearest small supermarket is 4km away on Via Kennedy in Santa Maria del Focalla (a small village). The closest major towns are Pozzallo at 8km and Ispica at 10km. Le Dune Residence is visited at 9am every morning by a 'bread and cheese' delivery man. Useful for breakfast. Overall, we were delighted with our apartment, the swimming pool and proximity to the beach.

Jolie résidence, très bien entretenue et sécurisée par un grand portail automatique. Parking à l’intérieur de la résidence. Construction sur 2 étages, les appartements se trouvent soit au rez de chaussée soit à l’étage. Ils sont spacieux, très propre et très bien équipé. Anita, la propriétaire, toujours à l’écoute pour satisfaire nos demandes. Un excellent choix. Il peut arriver que ce soit bruyant si on se trouve trop près de la piscine ou de voisins bruyants. Plusieurs restaurants se trouvent le long de la route où se situe la résidence. Pour les grands supermarchés, il faut se déplacer à Pozzalo (20mn. en voiture). Un petit supermarché de dépannage se trouve à environ 15mn. à pied de la résidence. Il faut traverser la rue pour accéder à une longue plage ouverte et le plus souvent venteuse. Une partie de cette plage est équipée de transats et parasols (location pr 2 transat et 1 parasol 20Euros par jour). Pour ceux qui recherche une plage aménagée avec transats (18 Euros), restaurants/café, tabac et où la mer est calme, peu profonde et très propre, nous en avons trouvé une à Sampieri (environ 30 mn en voiture). Un grand parking se trouve juste à proximité de la plage.

sono stata in questo gioiellino di appartamento molto pulito e completo di tutto. sei vicino alle città' d'arte e la sera alle dune del mare. La signora dallo sguardo tenace e inflessibile è una donna graziosa ed energica che pensa al bene dei suoi ospiti. Sono stata proprio bene e lo consiglio a tutti
