"The drive out into the countryside is well worth the effort. We stayed in the two bedroom gite and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The gite is spacious and has a lovely gravel patio area in front with great views of the countryside. "Tres chouette sejour, propriétaires tres sympa, piscine tres chouette avec tres belle terrasse. L appartement etant au dernier etage de la maison, il fait chaud pour la nuit bien qu une climatisation mobile est disponible. Tres bon sejour dans l etablissement, le diverti parc est a moins de 2km et chouette pour les enfants."

"We enjoyed our stay in Panneçot very much and were delighted to communicate with Dominique, who was calm, practical and very helpful, thank you Dominique. The cottage is in an ideal location. Everyone slept soundly and we enjoyed tractors going past the doorstep and giving a wave in the morning. A small note - I have left enough toilet paper for the next guests. Not possible to buy in the little hamlet and with families, maybe good to err on side of generous..."

"Un très bon séjour au sein de ce logement ! Fred est très sympathique et le logement était parfaitement adapté pour la famille (petit bémol sur le manque de casseroles mais c'est un détail). Nous y étions tellement bien que nous sommes finalement très peu sorti du logement ! L'extérieur est bien aménagé, les équipements de loisirs sont présents et la maison est grande et confortable. "We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. Tout était parfait : propreté impeccable, endroit très calme, gîte très cosy. Hôtesse très accueillante et très sympatique et qui plus est adore les animaux. Je recommande les yeux fermés! "We were put into hotel de la gare (sister hotel next door)as it was better for limited mobility guests. The room and bathroom were perfect, being on the ground floor and with all the amenities needed. Breakfast was good quality and reasonably priced. The restaurant had a limited menu but was OK"

Extreme dissapointment

"Made the reservation for my wife as she was driving across France and wasn't sure when she would need to sleep. I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. The demeanor of the lady checking my wife in was beyond a Parisian cold. Given what my wife has explained she was just rude. And my wife is someone who never likes to complain about customer service. The coup de gras was her being asked to pay the next morning after I had already paid. My wife thought I had paid on the website but she is not confrontational. Overall, there is another hotel chain in France that shares the name of a bird. I would highly recommend you go there. For the same price you will receive the same accomodations but with kinder service. But I must admit there was a lady the next day that we spoke to, Julie, who was very kind. Yet, I will never reserve another room there. In case the staff would like to reply and say this has to do with the restaurant being closed on Sunday, it does not. While we were surprised that it was closed we were prepared and I found my wife a place close by she could stop for a takeaway salad before she arrived at the hotel. Yet I do wonder how your guests eat on a Sunday. If it is as ridiculous as your scoff implied then all restaurants must be closed on Sunday and of course they aren't. Train your people to have some manners. Teach them, no customers, no job"
