Our reservation was for a free spa service. When we asked at the desk the gave us an address for another hotel and a 20 % off coupon. They were not especially welcoming or helpful. Also — the street noise was very loud and kept on well past midnight The room itself was very nice and clean. The people who were working at breakfast were also very nice.

The room was very comfortable and had good WiFi and air conditioning. My room was on the backside of the building and was quiet. There were good dining options nearby, and it was close to the T1 tram line and the bridge to the old city.

We had a very good stay

Our stay at this hotel was just lovely. We used the heated pool and sauna one morning and we even had it all to ourselves. Rutkay and Ugur at the front desk gave us excellent service with keeping our bags after checkout so we could enjoy the town before heading to the airport.

Excellent stay at Galata's!

This is an excellent stay in an excellent location of Istanbul! The hotel is in excellent condition. The rooms are modern and clean and the air conditioning is top notch. The breakfast is solid as well. Highly recommend.

The location was great as it was close to the Galata tower with plenty of stores for shopping and eating in walking distance. I would recommend to visit again as it is a nice location for walking distance to enjoy your stay.

Great hotel & staff

We stayed at Galata for a week and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is simple and beautiful, there’s access to a (small) gym and a pool and the breakfast buffet is really tasty and varied. But the best part of the experience was the openness & friendliness of the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel!
