Perfect Stay

My stay at the Golden Age Hotel was nothing short of amazing! The location is perfect, putting you close to everything you need. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always going the extra mile. The breakfast is delicious and offers fantastic value for money. Overall, this hotel is incredibly underrated - I highly recommend it!

Nice and comfort stay

The location is excellent, situated near the square and very close to public transportation. The variety and taste of the breakfast at the facility were delightful. We would like to express our gratitude for the friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, and we enjoyed the pleasant pool area.

The hotel's floors exuding historical charm and resembling a museum, coupled with the exquisite breakfast, made for an exceptional experience. The sculptures and paintings on the hotel's floors were truly beautiful, making me feel like I was strolling through a museum.

A great place to stay. Had a blasting experience considering the location of the hotel. Its as best as a 4 star hotel could be with all the staff and everything. They gave us fruit plate as a welcome gift , has a tea time for free at evening etc. So many options as well. Friendly staff and fast check in is also great.

Great experiencd

It was a pleasant stay. I had a great breakfast experience. Staff was also very warm and helpful. Receptionists helped us a lot about location and such. Room I stayed was very clean and comfortable. I'm looking forward to come again.

Room was dirty. They more so over probably just change the sheets, sweep the floor and wipe down the bathroom. The bathroom had mildew in the corner of shower and in between tiles. Hotel stunk like sewage. TV channels didn’t work. Called to have an iron delivered to my room and did get it, called again after waiting, still waiting for the iron. At night you can here music coming into your room up to around 2am every day, and it’s loud. Nothing about it makes you feel like you are in a hotel, my house feel more like one. Breakfast was pretty good.

Hotel staff was very welcoming since checkin. They were helpful. It was very comfortable room. Breakfast was very , very good. Lots of different thing they offer you in breakfast, while service staff is also kind and helpful. I will come back again for sure!

There was no English speaking Cable channel only Turkish speaking channels. I reported the problem to management but the problem was not resolved. Good food buffet. Rooms need to be refurbished because the wall paper was peeling at the seams, scuffed marks on the walls . Wood Floors need to be refinished. Friendly staff.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The breakfast was delightful, offering a wide variety of options that catered to all tastes. The open-air pool was a fantastic addition, providing a relaxing and refreshing experience. What truly stood out, however, was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. From the moment I arrived, their hospitality made me feel right at home.

We have just left the hotel. It was overall very good except the breakfast!! It is total chaos as no one is helping you to find a table or check your room number. When I once asked for help the person responsible told me that he cannot help and would need to check with the receptionists?! We had our plates and we were standing up in the middle of the restaurant. Eventually we were seated by Nida. The day receptionists ( the lobby team) have been amazing and helpful, and the lady (Nida) who was the customer relations person is extremely helpful and pleasant. The location is great and buzzing.

Nothing was good accept the location being Taksim Square. The hotel rooms ac doesnt work, shower & toilet leaks water, rooms arent fully cleaned, housekeeping never brings anything even after being repeatedly reminded, also this hotel states it includes free baggage storage but they dont do it unless you pay them extra, front desk & all other staff barely speaks any english. When you tell them issues with the room they scream at one another in their language and consistently seem annoyed that they have customers to deal/speak to. There is no one to help with anything you need nor do they care to or even bother to understand you. Its overall been a very horrible experience at this hotel, hirrible hospitality, they should be rated a 1 star or lower & its definitely not worth what i paid for it. There is absolutely no expedia vip privileges here available, so dont book thinking there are any privileges as its all a scam & waste of your money staying at this hotel.

Unfortunately, my experience at Golden Age Hotel was disappointing. The room was not very clean, which was not what I expected. Additionally, while the hotel staff were helping to transfer my luggage, the handle of my suitcase was broken. This was very frustrating and disappointing, especially when you expect more care with guests’ belongings. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their standards

Hotel staff were exceptional. My Partner and I were quite sick for 2 days and the hotel staff met every request in a timely manner. Only downside to our stay was the noise. Street noise and other guests around us were extremly noisy.

The hotel is in a prime area for convenient dining and other activities. Nida, in particular, was great at providing the utmost service and ensuring we were content and comfortable. From breakfast to overall, I would definitely stay here again.
