"Good location for Metro and trams etc. Room 609 was far too hot on a night so had to sleep with windows open (23-27th Dec) and we were on a busy main rd side so sleep wasnt great. Hotel itself is good, food great, staff great, facilities great. Upstairs restaurant and bar is expensive but downstairsis good. Would stay here again. Bianca was extremely helpful and very friendly. "Just a bus ride on the Buda side of Budapest. One bus into Pest 108E or 2 buses. 15 min walk to the Budapest-Kelenford station and Etene Shopping Mall. Room was nice and spacious. We were right next to the restaurant and we thought it would have been noisy, but it surprisingly wasn’t and turned out to be very convenient. "Relatively close to the airport but still in the middle of nowhere. 7 minute drive to the airport in the shuttle or a taxi, closest public transportation to the city is a 15 minute walk. Otherwise perfectly fine 3 star hotel."

"The hotel and staff are great. However, the rooftop bar wasn’t open (not advertised) the breakfast was ironically really limited and poor and no kettle etc in the room, which would have been nice. Good location, given the price (tram stop across the room) and some great bars/ facilities close by as it’s on the outskirts. Great find. "

"Kudos to the staff who were all so kind and efficient. The breakfast had a robust amount of offerings. The hotel is very clean. The hotel interiors, and the room I had, were a little dated. Bath products pretty basic. The room smelled of a plastic-like smell when I arrived. I noticed the stairwell smelled the same so it's just something that's in the building. The windows were lovely and can open so I was able to air out the smell. "

"Excellent location. Room and all facilities were clean and new. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel includes breakfast as well. Wonderful breakfast buffet choices. We had a fabulous stay at D8 hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for accommodations in Budapest. "

"Great experience at Park Plaza! Very clean room and beautiful views. Made use of the gym and sauna while staying which were great features. Reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. Close proximity to the Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion. About 20 minute scenic walk into the main town over the Danube and close to metro and tram stops too. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Thank you!"

"The staff were so friendly and helpful . My room view of the river was brilliant and paying the extra for the quiet club lounge was good value ! Even has a Tourist shop of handmade Hungarian artifacts . Very central and easy to get around the city . The Marriott has a special atmosphere of a home away from home . I’m going back always . "
