"This is a lovely quiet hotel/ryokan. Beautiful large room with everything set up for onsen the Japanese bath, which was also delightful. The staff was very very sweet and helpful. We didn’t eat at the hotel; there are wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is a few hundred meters from the tourist area which is very quiet after 5 pm. Great place. "

"Lovely stay - as a first time visitor to Japan, it was great to have a night at some more traditional lodging. Iwaso was beautiful and the service excellent.
