"Our room had nothing in common with the rooms shown in the photos; it didn’t have a balcony. The staff was very attentive and polite. There was a moldy smell in our room, and the room hadn’t been cleaned, nor were the sheets changed when we first arrived. Upon our request, the room was cleaned. The surroundings and garden were quite beautiful. Breakfast was good. "

"Remote from the center but close to the famous lake, this hotel is a good choice if you want to enjoy nature more than main historical street. They also have nice local kitchen and use some shrimps from the lake. "

"This relatively new hotel has clean rooms, very agreeable staff and a decent breakfast. The only problem is the location which is a good 25 minute walk to the middle of Iznik and there is very little to see or do on the nearby beach (at least in late October)"

"The nearly new hotel is interesting... good location, comfortable room with a balcony across the main street from the lake. Owner/host speaks English well. The included breakfast was very good, but not available before 9:30. The only odd thing was that there is no overnight staff, apparently. No way to talk to a front desk if needed. Think of it more like an apartment than a hotel. But other than that it was very good. Would stay again. "
