"A very quiet place, perhaps the season, walkable distance to train station. The ride along the coast was enjoyable. I had the best Japanese breakfast there overlooking the sea! Well arranged, excellent taste. A great sushi place across at the wharf at the end of the building and also great seafood to be had in town. "

"Massive room. Incredible balcony seaview. Feels very much like living in a home. Close driving distance to Mount Omuro. The buffet is a bit costly with what it has to offer. It's not close to any convenient store, so better do some groceries first before getting here."

"Oni no sumika is a beautiful ryokan tucked away in Shuzenji. The staff are all extremely kind and accommodating (they do not speak English, so google translator is a must if you’re foreign and they are quick to use it) The traditional breakfast was great, with many small dishes that leave you satisfied but not full to start your day. If I am in shuzenji again I will be staying here."

"Lovely luxurious hotel. The foot bath next to the koi pond and the private onsens were a highlight. Staff were exceptional in their service, especially Momoka. "
