It would’ve been five stars except for our room. The carpet was completely soaking wet. I didn’t notice that the carpet was wet until I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and my socks got soaked. The kids are all sleeping so I was just like whatever. I went to the front desk in the morning just to let them know and the lady at the front desk said she would’ve offered me a refund, but since I had prepaid that she couldn’t. She said that unprompted. I didn’t ask if I could have a refund. I also let her know that that room is right by the door where everyone goes out to smoke so you can hear people outside smoking and coughing, part of the reason why we left so early. So anyways I contacted Expedia once we got to where we were going and they talked someone. I’m assuming it was the same person that helped me check out and when Expedia talked to her, she told them that she had offered me an alternative room and that I refused. But how would I have gotten offered another room when we were already leaving for the day? It was just strange that she was dishonest with Expedia customer service. The breakfast was good. They have waffles.
