Great location but not the cleanest place
We loved the location and the views but there was a lot of dust and cobwebs all over the house but we were still comfortable and relaxed.

The best part of this property is that it is very close to Volcano & Pine Grove. If you want to spend time in Jackson or Plymouth there are other options for a "couple." It is in a very wooden resident development and has a great view. Homes are near but not too close. It is a 1 bedroom with only a queen bed. Futons in the large living room make the location ideal for a bigger group. The one bathroom has a tub (with shower head). The kitchen is well stocked with a large stove but only a small hotel type refrigerator/freezer. There is a small grocery store in Pine Grove. Check-in with the lockbox concept was ideal. Plenty of parking.

Quiet, peaceful, scenic getaway
Veiw out front windows was impressive and relaxing. Space was cozy but not cramp. Notes left around the space made me smile and turned out to be very helpful in understanding how certain things worked. Clean, white, fluffy towels in the bathroom. While the refrigerator was small is suprisingly met all our needs. Freezer portion held and kept frozen a full 7 lbs bag of ice that we needed the next day for our cooler. Would stay here again.

A fun getaway!
My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. We liked the privacy and having the feeling of camping. It was also in driving distance to town or the casino. We will certainly try and come back for another fun getaway.

Short Stay
The place was as advertised. The kitchen was obviously a new addition. It met our needs. However, there are not a lot of pots, pans and other cooking utensils. If you are cooking for more that 2 people or preparing a meal that requires a lot of pots or pans or special utensils to prepare the dish you might want to bring what you need as there is only the bare minimum. Great location for hiking and visiting wineries. We would return.

Our stay was essentially what we expected - a relaxing and quiet location with very nice views. It felt almost "off the grid" but close to the areas we wanted to re-explore. And a good value to boot!

Mini Vacay in Northern California
Had a great stay in this property. The lower portion of a house with view of the pines; had kitchen, bath, separate bedroom and large living area as well as separate entrance. Our black lab was welcome with a very minimal pet fee. We were close to Lake Tabeaud where we hiked and our dog swam. Very fun! We were also in close proximity to Volcano and Black Chasm Cavern. The cave tour was very interesting. It was a relaxing trip where we started the mornings with our favorite type of coffee, mine being Keurig and his being drip. It was neat that the kitchen had both options! The house was away from traffic in a quiet neighborhood. Scenic drives all around, although you may want to either plan ahead for those or bring a map, cell phone service is spotty when out and about.

A wonderful pet-friendly spot in the trees
This was a wonderful getaway for the weekend! It felt remote while we were there but it was easy to get to and close to Pine Glen and other places. There was plenty of space in the unit, with a bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, and TV with satellite cable. It was very clean and comfortable inside and there was a nice patio area right outside. And it was great to be able to bring our dogs for a reasonable fee. It was connected to the main house but it felt very private with its own entrance. We would love to stay again!

Tucked away stay
Cute house tucked in a neighborhood just 10 minutes to town and 20 to the next two winery towns. Spacious living area and outside (not fenced but no real issues for behaved pets). We didn’t read clearly on the small kitchen but that was our fault. Still able to make due with just microwave and small fridge but don’t plan on full kitchen. Otherwise great spot! Host was very communicative and flexible with our needs.

1-day stay in Jackson
Quiet, comfortable, convenient. Fabulous WIFI service. My Verizon cel phone had nearly zero coverage. Streaming video on large-screen TV was very nice. Great launch point to explore the areas east of Jackson. Only has microwave, small fridge, and coffee maker so food prep options are limited.

Conveniently located between Jackson and Pine Grove. Close to restaurants, store and still far enough out in the wilderness to feel like you’re away from it all. Rental exactly as advertised. Host onsite during our visit and helpful. Pet Friendly.

Enjoyed our stay
This was a clean, comfortable unit. Bed was comfortable, plenty of space with couch/futon, shower was fine. I think the only heat was space heaters, but they worked surprisingly well. Wifi worked well. I wasn't clear from reading that there is no kitchen in this unit. There is a dining table, microwave, small fridge and hot plate, but keep that in mind for cooking. There is also paper plates to make cleanup easier, and we bought paper bowls for chowder and left the rest behind. In non-COVID times we would likely take advantage of the local restaurants more. Convenient for snow-park/Kirkwood.

Learning curve
This was my first rental experience and I learned a lot. Property was easy to find. Communication with owner greatly improved by my finally getting WiFi password as this location is in a dead zone. Entrance to unit isn’t marked, but didn’t have trouble figuring it out myself. The bed is very comfortable. Overall, the unit was clean. I did find a sock someone left previously in the living area. And after making a small mess, I found the basket that goes with the 4 cup coffee maker in a closet and was able to make coffee. Helpful tip, bring bottled water. The only available water is in the bathroom. No thanks. The TV works fine and has surround sound. Due to COVID-19, I had no contact with owner. I did hear movement and noise from unit above but that was expected since the owner lives there. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to lay your head at the end of the day, this place is perfect. If you want amenities, stay in a hotel. The peace and quiet was all I needed to recharge.
