A quaint stop out of history. Very charming, local inn with a fireplace, a counter to have your meals, a convenience store, and also right outside the road to the north rim, with Vermillion Cliffs NM right down the road.

A great place to stay, friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately the heater in our bedroom was not working and, due to the altitude, and the very cold weather we were absolutely frozen.

Good quiet position for going into North Rim Grand Canyon and has an excellent restaurant. We were in the hotel out the back with no fridge or microwave. No way to make a hot drink(and it snowed) so have to walk back to the main inn. Not safe in the dark. Claimed a fire risk meant no coffee maker etc but that made no sense as curtains cover heater at night which is a fire risk so we turned it off. Room a good size and good shower.

Jacob lake inn is awesome place to stay. It’s an old place but really cool. It doesn’t have a fridge but they give a lot of ice bags. They serve the most delicious food we’ve ever eaten. Walking trails around are nicer than anywhere around. And it’s just 40 minutes to north rim which is very close. Highly recommended place to stay

The staff was under staffed in the restaurant, it took quite a while to receive your food. The servers were doing multiple tasks. Everyone was very nice but overworked.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but this quaint place was so charming. Rooms not the biggest but adequate for our one night stay. Lovely and clean and very quiet. Had dinner and breakfast in the dining room. Very good food at reasonable price. Lastly the cookies were the best - so many to choose from. The onsite shop was an added bonus. Would recommend to any traveller.

Very convenient stay for visiting North Rim. Room was clean and food was good. Because this is only place within 45 min of North Rim, lots of rim to rim hiker groups stayed here and left very noisily at 3am each morning as walls are paper thin. It was busy and food service was slow. Don’t come hangry. Cookies were delicious. Would recommend driving another 45 min out and staying in Kanab if you are just visiting Grand Canyon for a day or two - many more options for lodging and food in cute little town

This is a great alternative to staying at North rim main lodge. It’s got a great cabin feel even in the motel rooms. Having the restaurant right on property was great with good food at good price, but service can get a little slow at “rush hour” times. Gift shop is better than the one at North Rim. The drive to north rim is very picturesque and easy to make in about 45 minutes

Very convenient to the Grand Canyon North Rim. Good cookies and nice little store/gift shop/restaurant. Staff was friendly but breakfast service was extremely slow even though they were doing their best.

The perfect place to stay when visiting the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I reminded me of the small family-owned inns that dotted the Catskills and Adirondacks of NY of my youth. Still family owned and operated, their service to the client is first class and the staff are well trained, courteous and cheerful. We will be back!

This is our second time staying here to go to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is about an hour away from the entrance so if you’re visiting the canyon for more than a day you might want to stay in the park itself for convenience. We stayed in the hotel section of the Inn & it was great. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it was more than adequate for a night’s stay.

Quaint lodge. Clean and good cookies. Small thing but since no coffee in the room was disappointed you had to pay for coffee in the lodge and cream was bad. Would recommend they provide complimentary coffee to guests. Overall ok experience but sometimes it is the small things.
