Stayed at this adorable location during the PA Search and Rescue Summit with my k9 and another K9 team. It was perfect for what we needed after a long day of training and very quiet. Enough space for the 2 dogs to run. Super clean, and cozy! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. The property was exactly as described, it was very clean, and there is plenty to do in the area including some great hikes/overlooks. As a bonus, Walmart was an easy 15 minute drive away when we needed a few things. Plus the hosts were easy to communicate with. Overall very relaxing and enjoyable!

As soon as I walked in , this home had such a homey feel. Super clean, very well stocked, very accommodating! We really enjoyed our stay! We brought our boat and there was plenty of room to park it. The kitchen had everything and more than needed. We were super pleased with this home! Also, close to boat launch. We will definitely be back next year!

Absolutely lovely house, pleasant and clean. Large kitchen and living room with more than spacious bedrooms. Plenty of room to run around outside also. As we have a boat, there was more than adequate parking available and vey close to a nearby boat ramp. My husband and I are all ready talking about retuning

Raystown Vacation
Great time at Raystown! If you are looking for a place that all you need is your clothes...this is the place! The kitchen was fully stock with everything you need and the place was SUPER CLEAN! We loved the views of the farm in the front and the mountains in the back. The firepit was great for the evening fun and roasting marshmellows. The owners are available for any questions and great to talk with! Our family had a great time at the house and the lake which is only a few minutes away! We will be going back again as we just had our food, clothes and about 50 fishing rods to get the BIG one!

Cozy Mountain Home
This home was a very nice and well-kept property that my family and I really enjoyed. We were so pleased with how clean and inviting it was with all that was there so that you could spend some quality time together. From the wonderful views to the games and numerous movies that were supplied, this host wanted to make sure you'd be happy. We loved the whole "mountain living" experience! One thing to be aware of is that the drive up to the property is on a narrow winding road so be sure to expect that. It also depends on the direction you may be traveling from. An All-Around Lovely Place to Be!
We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our mountain/lake getaway at this fantastic property. From the ideal setting - close to the lake, but easy to access and surrounded by a view of the mountains and farm scenery (and some farmyard friends across the street!); to the very comfortable rental home - super clean, very well set-up/maintained/decorated/stocked; to the welcoming host - completely accommodating, helpful, quick-to-respond, and friendly. Some additional favorites from our stay were the comfortable beds, the well-done campfire ring, and the extra amenities like laundry facilities and wifi. But all-around, just simply no complaints about this place - it's a property we'd highly recommend, and would definitely look to stay in again if we're ever back in the area. A true gem!

Great views and private stay
Great place, as others have said. Nearby a lot of hiking trails and the lake which is what we visited for. The place was very secluded and mostly quiet, the only exception being the cows across the street which didn't bother us much at all. If you're looking for a spot near lake Raystown for a reasonable price, I'd highly recommend booking here.
