"This is a very neat little inn, with the original downstairs house portion dating back to the 1790s and the inn dating back to the 1890s. At the very bottom level is a lively tavern. The room was comfortable if small, which is to be expected at a place like this. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and a very friendly staff. "

"This chalet was an excellent basecamp for my husband and I as well as my in-laws for a long weekend during leaf season. Smugglers Notch resort was less than five mins away, and the town of Cambridge was less than 10 for groceries or more dining options. 20 mins or less to hiking trails in the notch or Stowe resort. "

"My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Pondhouse. Ellen was a very gracious hostess, and was especially kind to help us when we experienced a flat tire (she hooked us up with a local repair shop, and drove us to purchase groceries during the repair.)
