This upscale organic modern apartment is in a historic Italianate Victorian building that was built in 1840. Along with all the modern conveniences, it features a 2 person whirlpool in a dramatic stone and tile bathroom with built in quart crystal art work by McCoy Designs.

This location is in historical Jim Thorpe, only a 3 to 8 minute walk away from the restaurants, bars, live music and historical attractions. Located on the ground floor with easy access to off-street parking

Even more beautiful than the pictures. Old Jailhouse is literally across the street. Information from Jeffrey was above and beyond. Many dining suggestions as well as things to do which were all in walking distance. We loved our stay at The Guest House and hope to come back to Jim Thorpe and the Guest House soon!

21st Birthday Surprise
Booked this for my daughters low key 21st birthday celebration for her and her boyfriend. Jeff is the most responsive host and helped me coordinate balloons, cake and charcuterie arrangement for their arrival which was wonderfully displayed! Rental was exactly as presented, cute, clean, lots of small details throughout, and perfect location to town and exploring the Poconos. Easy check-in/parking process and groundskeeper Chad all made this a great getaway. Very happy with everything about this booking!

Amazing little gem of a town
Absolutely fell in love with the area! Our rental was super cute and cozy and felt like home. Pets enjoyed the stay despite the town having little grass, lots of parks and trails to take them to for their business. Stayed during the week which made it more enjoyable and able to fit everything in we wanted to do since most places are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays or odd days like that in order to be open during the weekend. Highly recommend staying with the high street property group and visiting Jim Thorpe PA. Everyone is so friendly! If you so the train ride sit on the side away from where you border you’ll see more.

Just a place to stay
The apt. is roomy, but no closets. They accept pets but no grass around the area. All stones in the yard. Large refrigerator but the handle was falling off. Nice whirlpool tub but no hot water. Spilled water on the floor of which I wiped up and the rag came up black. Large television but no directions to know how the remote works. Over all we had a good time .

Perfect solo outing
This was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property. I've stayed in many rental properties, but this one remains one of my favorites. The owners are lovely and wonderful to work (and talk!) with. The property is immaculate and undergoes continual maintenance and upgrades. The location is perfect -- easy to park the car and walk to everything. If you've ever been to Jim Thorpe, you know that parking is at a premium -- so the dedicated off-street parking space that comes with the property is a major bonus. There is absolutely nothing that I don't like (except that it is getting so popular that it's hard to find an open weekend!).

Wonderful stay!
My partner and I stayed here for a couple of nights recently and loved it! Jeffrey showed so much hospitality and sent us many recommendations prior to our stay. He was available if anything came up. The apartment itself was the perfect size for two people and our pets loved it too! Everything was very cozy, loved all the small touches and the whirlpool tub was great. Sadly we couldn't see as much of the town as we would have liked b/c it was a very short stay but hope to be back soon!
