"At the end of a long journey to the north we received a great welcome in to a lovely farmhouse property on the edge of the village. it was a short walk from the property to the footpath that overlooked the Pentland firth with amazing views towards Orkney. Duncansby head a short drive or walk from the property is a must for bird watchers . we just missed an orca pod running through Pentland firth . but what impressive views were to be had all along the north coast. the property was very dog friendly and it was well stocked with all you would need for a wonderful stay . We shall not forget the lovely Ha farmhouse"

"Property was perfectly appointed with everything you would need. Bathrooms are spacious and nice big towels! Ocean view and great walks. We did two day trips and spent one day locally which worked out very well. I would definitely recommend this rental!"

"Fantastic stay at John O Groats. We had booked a double ensuite room which looked lovely. When we arrived the manager was waiting for us to ask if we would mind if they upgraded our room as the heating wasnt wasnt working. Obviously we didnt mind. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to our upgraded room. They had given us a three bedroomed, two bathroom lodge which was amazing. Warm, comfortable clean and pur luxury. We settled down by the logburner to watch the sea through the huge windows. Perfect. They also gave us a free breakfast hamper! I had forgotten to order one and messaged Jan the morning before we arrived, (supposed to give 24hours notice). But not only did they manage to source us one at short notice, they gave us it for free. Fantastic service and all staff very friendly. Would definitely reccomend and hope to return."
