"2 to 3 times a year, I stay at this hotel as I am in town deer hunting. The propertly is just fine. Its probably the nicest motel in the area. Its actually higher price wise, then when I travel for business and stay at luxury hotels, but what are going to do? They take advantage of the fact its deer hunting season so they jack the price. That said, there are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance, the motel area is old but clean, its most of the time fairly quiet, tv works, shower...

"The property was great and perfect for our family vacation. The kids enjoyed interacting with the animals and exploring the river bed. The location is close enough to Fredericksburg without being in the city. However, there was no spa/whirlpool, no satellite/cable, and no ice maker available as stated on the VRBO listing. Also, there was no wi-fi in the suite."

"Our time here on my birthday week/weekend was a one of kind experience. The house absolutely gorgeously decorated and no details missed. Highly recommend! Management on site the best perk you could ever want or need. Everything in the home is immaculate and well cared. A lot of thought on details went into this incredible visit to the Texas Hill Country. Private road, gated entrance and amenities all top notch. We would stay here again. Stunning. "
