A Great Week.
It was an amazing week. Pat and her husband were wonderful to work with throughout the week. The property was beautiful. Everything was clean and if we needed suggestions, Pat and her husband offered their knowledge of the area.

Family get together
Had family from Colorado, Utah and Alaska come to Montana. This place was absolutely the perfect place. My family and I had an amazing time and didn't want to leave. So peaceful and the views were amazing. It was right next to the water and plenty of walking trails. It was close to towns and other attractions. Wish we could have rode the horses but otherwise was worth it.

Absolutely amazing!!
Fantastic place!! We’ve been coming to Montana for 12 years now and this was the best place we have stayed! Accommodating to all ages in our family. Fishing, rafting, horses, cows, sweet doggies, wild life, etc. we loved being close to Red Lodge and Beartooth Pass. The owner Pat was super sweet and had some amazing recommendations that we took advantage of. We are definitely planning to stay here again in the future. Montana is a special place to us in our hearts. This specific trip will forever be memorable to us!

Unique Montana Property
This home is a unique property located on the intersection of the Rock River and Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River. Our visit occurred a little over a month after major flooding in Montana. The house was not affected. The water was still quite high and fast during much of our visit. The hosts, Pat and Steve, were great. They live on the same property but far enough away for complete privacy. We had a few questions during our stay that were quickly answered. They also fully stocked us with farm fresh eggs. It’s a farm and sometimes there were people riding horses in the ring adjacent to the house. Between that and the interior décor, you knew you were vacationing in the west. The house is huge and provided our large family with 4 distinct living areas, each with its own bathroom. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms (one large with a balcony) and 2 regular size rooms. All three share a full bathroom. On the main floor there is a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and private bathroom. The master bath has a large shower and a separate whirlpool tub. The tub is surrounded by windows overlooking the convergence of the two rivers. The third living area is above the garage and has 2 bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill full bathroom. Finally, in the walk-out basement there is another bedroom and a ¾ bath. The huge deck is accessible from the master bedroom, the great room, and the kitchen. It overlooks the creek and a nice view of the mountains. The home also has quite a few recreational and hang out areas. Our family spent hours in the great room relaxing. The great room is the room in the listing pictures with all of the hunting trophies. There is an area on the 2nd floor with kids’ toys and another area overlooking the great room with a comfy chair for some quiet reading. The basement had a pool table and plenty of comfortable seating with a TV. It also has a bar area (no fridge and sadly no alcohol provided). It opens onto a large patio with a fire pit. Note as well that the property has both cornhole and horseshoes available for group play. A review of this home would not be complete without mentioning how welcoming it is for dogs. Our dogs had a great time. We generally let them out the front door through the huge, shaded porch. They had a good area to attend to their personal needs and play fetch. Our dogs certainly enjoyed cooling off in the creek on the other side of the house. The kitchen is well stocked. Our large family enjoye

Beautiful but a few issues
Property was absolutely stunning and we really enjoyed the creek, river and location of home and had a great time visiting the horses, seeing the cattle every day and sitting on patio early morning having a nice hot cup of coffee. Owners were very responsive and definitely if some things were changed/updated it would be our choice to stay yearly. The issues we experienced was the location for a bon-fire by the creek would have been amazing, but issue is you had to walk through water and/or mud to get to it so we were never able to utilize so was a huge disappointment. A cute walking bridge over the small area of water/mud would be such a benefit and actually add to the property. For a house that size, the sitting area in living room only can seat 6 people with 3 on a couch crunched together, so suggest removing some of the antlers sitting around and placing more seating. There were only two working TVs in entire house and if you are staying with alot of children, this is important at night when they can't be outside playing and could be used to help them wind down and give adults some adult time. The basement where the pool table is was freezing and very uncomfortable, but luckily one of my grandsons loves it ice cold, otherwise the bedroom and bathroom in basement are not useful. Too miserable to play pool! The hot water heater is not suitable for that size house or for a large group. By the time 3 people finished a very short shower, the water was cold. My kids actually went to the gym daily in town and after working out would shower there so they could have a hot shower. The upstairs bedrooms are crazy because they are completely open air above the door so adults had no privacy and everything in the upstairs bedrooms could be heard. Only other thing I would suggest is anybody staying in the house should have a house key because when you don't live in an area where everybody keeps doors unlocked (like us), it was uncomfortable leaving the home knowing anybody could walk right in whenever they want. I want to give a huge shout out to the owner for bringing a new basketball over so boys could utilize basketball hoop and for bringing new coffee pot once I notified owner the other one didn't work. Absolutely loved our stay but would have been our go to yearly and enjoyed more with a few adjustments. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Absolutely beautiful property with abundant room for multiple family units. Even with winter weather, lots to do in home for entertainment, plus lots of outdoor playing areas. Would be fabulous for summer stays. House was completely stocked with everything from the kitchen, towels, toys, etc. and owners very easy to communicate with to make the stay perfect. Felt like home for the holidays as the home furnishings and amenities were as if we lived there, not just visiting.

We loved the rural setting. Everything from the repurposed beams in the house to the farm animals nearby to the confluence of two creeks with the Clark Fork River near the back yard. The wild turkeys and deer were fun to watch. There was plenty of room for the 13 of us.

Absolutely Incredible!!!!
Our 15 person stay at this wonderful property was absolutely amazing!!! Firstly the home is tucked away in a quiet area with absolute privacy and complete solitude with exception of the beautiful wildlife. It is an awesome home to have a large family retreat with your very own resort like atmosphere! We had our 5 adult children with 5 grandchildren and my father in law, along with my husband and myself. The home had a bedroom for everyone and enough bathrooms as well. There was absolutely no issue with sleeping arrangements as every single room is beautiful and comfortable. The master suite with gorgeous master bath views and sink in Jacuzzi tub was exceptional as was the executive kitchen where our entire family had a wonderful time together. I agree with previous reviews recommending to make sure to have several days to enjoy the property and home alone, which we did. The river and creek are so clean and fun to play in and explore!!! We had a blast in the water. Additionally we had several visits from beautiful horses and even a mama cow with her baby strolled over to say hello. Our favorite visitor, however, was Ruby the black lab...have to admit we all adored her and wanted to bring her home ;-) She is extremely polite and generous with gentle affection, we loved her!!! As far as logistics, it is about an hour to entrance to Beartooth mountains which leads to Yellowstone NE entrance. So all in all it is a long day in Yellowstone with an hour and half to the NE entrance however that 90 minutes is the most incredible sight seeing you will experience!!! Just one more thing, our host was amazing!!! Thank you Pat for your welcoming friendliness and taking complete care of us!!! It is truly appreciated and we are grateful for the opportunity to stay at this exceptional vacay home!!! It really made our trip easy, beautiful and super fun!!!

Great family stay
We stayed here with four adults and four children. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the kids loved going down to the water and exploring every day they had a chance. The kitchen is well-equipped with just about everything you could want, and we had many dinners at the big table in the kitchen. The owner is nearby and very helpful. You might not get a hold of her via email, but she is very accessible during your stay to answer any questions. Lots of wild turkeys on the property, and we also saw bald eagles, an osprey, warblers, redstarts and grosbeaks. A really great spot that we hope to return to!

Thank you so much to Steve and Pat for their generous hospitality and for opening their home to us for our family reunion. Your home is absolutely beautiful and the location can not be beat! It was far enough from town for the peace and quiet, but close enough if you had to run in for supplies. There was a bedroom for everyone and enough bathrooms to handle all 16 of us. We all had an awesome time and made many great memories! Thank you again, Wade and Annette.

Peaceful-Spacious-Clean-Beautiful Home
Very spacious home that accommodated our family of 15 easily. Very peaceful river/creek setting. Kids played outside and had dogs, horses and a little pig to occupy their time. Adults enjoyed the large porch, huge deck or the pool table depending on the time of day. If you want solitude this will be a place for you. Only 11 miles to groceries/gas or anything you might need. It is 100 miles to the northeast entrance to Yellowstone. However the drive through Red Lodge and Beartooth Pass is excellent. Our day trip to Yellowstone was a 14 hour day, but we saw most all of the park and then returned to home through Cody. Very nice, spacious and clean home in a peaceful setting for a large family outing.

Wonderful house for big family group.
Amazing house with unique construction and decorated as a hunting lodge in a great location where the stream joined the river. Our group consisted of 8 adults and 6 children. Got to watch horses and cattle graze next door and the kids got to feed the horses apples and carrots. We watched eagles soar and deer drink from the river. We fished from the river in the back yard. Would definitely come back again!
