"We had a problem accessing the security key numbers - x2 - necessary to get into the property. Hotels.com app failed and both tel calls and emails to the owner failed for over 2 hours. Finally got access. Will probably mean that I won’t stay in accommodation that doesn’t have a front desk in future. Otherwise a comfortable stay near centre of town. Clean, quiet with plenty of room. Missing coffee pods in supplies left for guests. Thank you."

"We stayed in Cottage A as a family of 6. It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. The host was very friendly and helpful, and had the fire in the living room set up burning already, and the hot tun already set up ready to go. "Gorgeous place! Stayed for my boyfriends birthday and he loved it. Great attention to detail and spotless. The view is stunning. If you want to stay here - I wouldn’t suggest it if you don’t drive as it on a hill that would be difficult to get to if not. For us this was great as the experience felt private."

"On our last night, after playing golf at Royal County Down, we had no hot water. We informed the owner and asked if he had determined the cause of the problem? After two efforts, we heard nothing. Before you book, you need to be satisfied this will not happen to you, either being aware of something you might do or a significant problem with the property which was great."

"The cottage is warm, comfortable and has a view of Killeavy castle. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. They had essentials waiting for us in the kitchen (tea,milk,bread,etc.) which were very much appreciated. Definitely need a car if you plan on staying here. Road noise may be an issue if you’re a light sleeper plus be very careful coming out of the driveway. The locals drive fast on this road."

"The size of this property is very deceptive from the outside but it has so much space. Lovely open plan kitchen/diner plus living room area and downstairs shower room plus utility. There is also another smaller living room with stairs to four bedrooms which are all adequately sized plus two bathrooms.. "We had a lovely stay and Larry and Anne couldnt have done anything else for us. They were magnificent hosts. Larry showed us round the buildings and gave us the history of the place. We walked down to the bar Basil Sheills which was only 5 min down the road and food was excellent. Breakfast next morning was super. Will defo be back again. Many thanks Larry and Anne."

"We stayed here as part of a wedding party. The location is stunning, the drive up to the hotel is very picturesque. Our room was excellent with two Juliet balconies facing in different directions. The decor and fittings were like new and very modern. A good sized bathroom and plenty of hanging space for our clothes. "
