"Great hotel - not near the city centre (but very handy for the airport) however it is so easy to get about in Singapore that is not an issue. The staff are great and breakfast is really good. Nice refreshing pool and a small but well equipped gym. Stayed here 3 times and cannot fault any of our stays. Local Katong streets give you a nice taste of the more traditional side of Singapore."

"Hotel Classic by Venue is a good choice if you are OK with a small room. The rooms are clean, and the staff is, without exception, friendly and willing to give advice on good places to eat and do other things in the area. The water pressure in our room was good. Hot water never ran out. They give the customary small bottles of soap, etc. We are a family of three and I just purchased a bottle of body wash and shampoo. The refrigerator was not very cold, and our milk spoiled after three days. It...

"Great hotel that is easy to access and in a cool place of the city. Check-in was easy and they let us check-in a couple of hours early. The room was good, clean, and quiet. Air conditioning was fully adjustable. The only issue was that the water leaked all over the bathroom floor when showering."
