"The good - what a wonderful place with amazing views. Very comfortable. Lovely place to relax. A few suggestions … if dogs were there previously please vacuum more. There were dog hairs everywhere. The knives in the kitchen are blunt. We could not figure out the heating at all. Please put small plates in the kitchen too"

"On my way home from Vegas, I decided to take a detour and visit Joshua Tree. I was happy to know that there was a Holiday Inn Express just miles from the North entrance to Joshua Tree. "Great for the price. Good location. Room had a minifridge and microwave. Seems it and the Oasis next door are in the midst of renovations. Check in was across the parking lot, in the Oasis. Only one guy on the frontdesk, not enough for the two hotels, and also fielding calls. Bit of a wait to check in. Carpet was moderately clean. Wallpaper looked new, but coming apart at the seams. Rockbound Oasis Retreat - Family friendly and stunning hot tub views in Joshua Tree

Peaceful retreat

"The property being adjacent to the rock formations was so unique and a beautiful setting with plenty of desert flora as well. There was a lot of outdoor seating providing for different views. There was a cute bunny that hopped around the area a few times. The bathtub in one of the bathrooms was also adjacent to rock formations outside making for a cool view. It was about a 15 minute drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. "
