It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. The venue was very convenient both to Lausanne and Geneva and there was ample parking at the hotel. We had a meal at the restaurant which was very good but we were in the courtyard and it began...

"Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location in Métabief area. Host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and made us feel welcome. Cleaning was arranged prior to arrival and they kindly gave us access to everything at the property. Great base for visiting Jura region and lakes north of Lake Geneva. Lake Neuchâtel is about an hour away and we visited Chamonix which was about 2 1/2 hours away."

"When we arrived to check in we were rushed. The guy managing the place told us he had left the key to our room in the door. When we made it to our room it looked nothing like the pictures, more like a cheap cabin on a lake. It was also freezing in the room. It was like 30 degrees Fahrenheit and no heat had been turned on. "Very nice place. We had a lake view with a balcony. Even though it's an old building with radiator heating (no thermostat control, but you can control with the knob). The room was pretty spacious. It was very clean. It's located on a shopping street by the lake, lots of restaurants and shops around. The only thing was laundry service was cash only (CHF15 per small basket). If you need to borrow a charge adaptor the deposit is also cash. "
