"Views were absolutely phenomenal, don't think there is a single room without a great view. Accommodations are simple, but well executed. Beds were comfy, breakfast (included in my stay) was awesome, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing but kind and helpful. Perfect location right below the Allmendhubel. 100% would stay here again. Traveled with a toddler and felt super comfortable."

"Our stay at this hotel was super. We received a warm welcome and our deluxe room was so comfortable and clean with fabulous views from the balconies...yes, there were two. The staff members were all very engaging, happy to assist with any query. The breakfast choices were good. "It’s an older property, but very well maintained and typical of a Swiss chalet in terms of rooms sizes and accommodations. The staff was very friendly as both the front desk and the restaurant. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection. The restaurant also had many options for food, homemade, and amazing views on the patio! "

"Beautiful hotel, close to train station (but uphill if carrying suitcases! ). Great service, lovely breakfast, and nice amenities available: a spa (sauna and steam room) and access to the adjacent sports center, with a nice pool and jacuzzi. Wonderful and beautiful area - our favorite in Switzerland "

"Room had amazing view of the mountains and a little balcony where we sat just taking in the views and the sounds of the birds, cow bells, and thunder. It was a very clean and comfortable modernized room. Loved the bed! No elevator, but I loved the rustic vibe. Front desk very friendly and helpful."

"Great location and view of the Mountains. Easy walk to nearby trails. There was a Full kitchen which was great. There was great attention to details which greatly improved our stay! The clothes dryer was a bit slow to dry and needed multiple attempts but otherwise everything was amazing! "

"As described, Chalet Myrrena is 5 minutes walk from the train station and all amenities are a short walk away. The apartment is cosy & comfortable with views across to the Eiger. Hosts Lael and Len couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We look forward very much to returning."

Perfect Location

"Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! "
