"I have travelled a lot and on that basis I am giving this feedback. It was a poor stay at Neerja Niwas. I had made full payment at the time of booking for 5 adults and 1 child and it was understood that there was no extra payment needed as there was nothing mentioned in the terms and conditions, however ,only on the day we were to arrive, owner asked to pay for the extra bed Rs.2000 , this was not mentioned upfront . "COMMUNICATION, CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: The communication was excellent and the host answered the phone always immediately. There was good instructions on locating the property with the property manager waiting for us at 10PM to hand over the keys and walk-though the property LOCATION and ACCESS: The location is prime as it is just off the busy Lanka road and very close to the main gates of Banaras Hindu University. An excellent restaurant, Ratna Sagar, is just 5 minutes walk from the property....

"A great hotel , european standard with an excellent service from all the staf ! From the front-desk , the restaurant , etc....a very kindky and professional atention ! Thanks a lot to every one who made my stay so fantastic. The hotel give a very good service with taxi ( they pick-up from the train station, then to Sarnath, etc.... with fantastic guy named Monu). The room is perfect, fantastic bed and acomodities . Strongly recomended in Varanasi."

"We stayed 7 nights and we were very comfortable. Room service was excellent and food was very good. The cleaning service people were very nice and efficient. Very friendly front desk people. Check in and check out were fast. The only thing we recommend if there is a plug next to the bed to recharge our computer."

"The best part of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. It is situated in a prime location along the Ganges, offering excellent views of the river from the sit-out dining area. The hotel staff were incredibly considerate and moved us to a river-view room on the second day. We also had a qualified guide who was very patient and helpful in taking us around the city. However, accessing the hotel can be a bit challenging as there is no direct approach. But that’s also part of the charm of Varanasi—you get to immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere every day."

"If you want to be in the heart of Varanasi near the famous temples and the Ganges river, all within walking distance, this is the hotel for you. If you do not like hotels in a crowded noisy area, then you will not like the hotel. We loved it and the location was fantastic. The staff and service was very good. We would definitely return."

"Location of the Hotel is excellent .Accessibility to all sights were very easy as a tourist .Food's quality were very good .Services of crew members were worth appreciating . I would like to suggest some more additional improvement I stayed in room no 403 : - 1) . mirror position need to be relocated at a convenient place for easiest access to the nearest of the mirror with a light on the wall . 2) Up dating of the room before handing over the room to the customer for stay .For example in room no 405 - Flash tank not functioning .In both room 403 and 405 commode showers water flow very slow and less ,needs cleaning of the filters. 3) Availability of chair and thermos flask in all rooms . This two items were not in room no 405 . 4) Supply of hot water must be made available from morning 5 AM onwards as most visitors are on pilgrimage tour and would like to visit temples after taking bath . I would request you to provide electric flask in every room as a positive improvement .and periodic maintenance must be done methodically . I thanks the management for the excellent support extended to customers ."
