"A beautiful villa in an amazing setting. Night and day the view was stunning.We all enjoyed the pool especially as there was a heatwave the first couple of days.We had to use fans at night and when we let property manager know one wasn't working another one was provided.Would love to go back to explore the area more, a week was not enough."

"If you’re going to Kardamyli, GO HERE. Gated parking, beautiful homes with kitchens, living rooms, and jacuzzis. Walk or drive the 600M down into town for groceries or restaurants. My hosts were absolutely fantastic. I felt like I was in a private spa staying here. If you’re touring by car, take at LEAST one night here and rest your boots. The residences are very attractively priced, extremely relaxing, and your hosts are really wonderful people. 10/10!"

Gorgeous self-catering accommodation (they’ve started doing breakfast hampers too); the villas arent on top of each other so you’ve got a very decent amount of privacy. "Complete disrespect of our privacy… simply outrageous! Our villa (one of many) is on a hillside,surrounded by olive trees, and discreetly situated to maximise privacy with an outstanding view of the village below. What was unfortunately also unforgettable was the villa owners (Yiannis) total disrespect regarding our privacy. On three seperate occasions he entered our (locked villa) to check if we’d left the air conditioner on while we were out “To save the environment…” The last time he did...

"we have stayed here several times in the past, on occasion twice in one year we love it so much, but the difference in the standard this year was vast. The property and grounds look generally unkempt with broken tree branches, washing line and waist high weeds by the shower and toilet. The shower area is quite mouldy and the toilet seat was very loose and wobbly. One sunbed was broken and the other ripped and on the verge of giving in. The matrass for the day bed is now missing. The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino

"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. Private lessons are absurdly expensive and they have not managed to create a 'Club' feel at the tennis by organising age group or ability clinics which are so important for kids to make new friends. The dining options are very good and the food is of a high standard (although quite a few restaurants were closed by late Oct which was disappointing). The place is crazy expensive - €5 for one Karaoke song or €50 for an hour's padel is not going to encourage people to try it with their kids. The golf is crazy expensive but full anyhow and very well laid on across the 4 courses. The buggy system if you have U18s is tiresome - you have to have a buggy but cannot drive it if you are U18 so if 2 kids play you have to have 2 adults driving the buggies (and they charge you for the extra buggy that you do no "
